The Society's objectives
SPCK-A operates interdenominationally and is an Anglican
mission society whose object is:
"..to make the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ
known, by promoting Christian knowledge by such means as the
Society from time to time may think fit, and especially by
making Christian literature available, accessible and affordable
by:
- raising funds to assist Christians and
Christian organisations in other countries.
- assisting in the transfer of useful skills
between persons, organisations, communities and countries.
- encouraging Christians towards the highest
possible standards of content, quality and effectiveness
in the preparation, presentation and dissemination of Christian
Knowledge.
- producing or providing materials which
promote Christian knowledge or assist others to do so.
- co-operating with or assisting other bodies
having similar or related aims.
- providing research, review, information
or other useful services.
- encouraging and facilitating the development
of and sharing of Australian expertise in writing, creating,
promoting, disseminating and effectively using Christian
literature and resources."
