Almighty God who through
the prophets of old,
promised that light should shine
out of darkness,
shine in our hearts,
and so use our endeavours
in this Society,
that many may be given the light
of the knowledge
of your glory,
which shone in the
face of your son,
Jesus Christ our Lord.

We pray for the Society
for
Promoting Christian Knowledge
Worldwide and for its
work in five continents:
for the many books and magazines,
book-vans and bookshops, radio
and television programmes
it has helped to produce.
Bless the Society's work
with greater resources to reach
more people with the
message of Jesus Christ
The Lord of Life.
